I can run my Ryzen 5 3600 4.05GHz @1.1625v stable. I ran a prime75 (v29.4) small fft test for 20mins and the max temperature I got was 72°C. Coming from R5 2400G (which ran at 3.85GHz @1.38v), this is a huge jump for me. I just want to make sure that undervolting to the maximum limit for the corresponding frequency won't be a problem in the long run. Thanks!
When stability is confirmed, performance improves. New batches contain higher quality silicon, though minor variations may still exist. This means chips from these batches could be superior.
It's clear you found a solution. After some time, CPU usage settled at 50%. You increased the voltage to 1.185v and everything is working properly now!
