I am worried about thermals here currently it has a GTX 970 and I will replace it for a Vega 56 later... I think it will fit? Barely maybe? The main goal is to make a PC capable to run all games next Gen can toss at it! The only issue is should I go a quad-core or hexa core? I am thinking wait for 4000 series because 5nm rumor to prevent it from killing itself due to heat but... (which Zen 3 would you get?) It really hinges on the situation because AMD is expected to launch a new set of 3000 series CPUs featuring XT technology, such as 3600XT, 3700XT, 3900XT and 3950XT—models that will likely support higher clock speeds and improved overclocking potential. This could suggest AMD might delay their upcoming Zen3 Ryzen 4000 series releases since they might aim to replace the XT lineup. I’d suggest holding off on the 4000 series until B550 and XT models arrive, and consider them for now. In a few years, if needed, you can always upgrade your BIOS to support Zen3 or Ryzen 4000 CPUs. Also, having a 6-core processor could be a smarter long-term choice, as games are beginning to benefit from more than four cores, and extra cores can aid in recording, streaming, or multitasking during gameplay.
Consider boosting the fan speed or adjusting the CPU voltage. The FX8370 draws 125W, the Athlong X4 95W, and the Ryzen 5 65W. If the case supports both, it should easily handle a 3600 overclock.

Taking a good shot would require taking it apart completely, but it's a fairly standard M-ATX build. The 3.5" bay isn't currently used, and in the worst case I might be able to remove the CD/DVD slots.
