I reviewed the JayzTwoCents video and noticed he was worried about damaging his chip by pushing it to 1.501V. I own a different setup with a 4670k in an Asrock Z87E-ITX, and I’m new to overclocking. I’m checking if my current settings are safe. My test showed stable performance for about ten minutes using AIDA64 stability checks, with temperatures staying between 80–82°C. This range seems within limits, but I want to confirm the safe fixed voltage and core voltage range.

You're just starting out with overclocking, aren't you? It makes sense to try lowering the voltage, as some people have achieved stable results around 4.8GHz with lower voltages. A few discussions mention 4.3GHz at 1.2V being reliable for certain setups.

Your current configurations are set as follows: CPU ratio at 41, cache ratio at 38, VCore voltage mode at 1.180V with a slight offset of -0.01.

Make sure stability holds, slightly reduce the voltage, keep repeating until it fails, then apply the final stable setting. You can also tweak the ratio a bit higher if needed.
