Seek a stable run of Forza Horizon 4 without any hiccups. It’s unclear which parts to upgrade—CPU or RAM? You have an older used i5 6400 and still feel stutters even at 35fps. Your GPU handles 60 smoothly on medium settings. Your setup includes: CPU i3 6100, RAM 1 x 8GB DDR4 @ 2133 MHz, GPU GTX 1050 Ti, motherboard Asus H110m CS. Consider checking if a faster CPU or more RAM would help, but your current hardware is solid for the game.

Operated with RX580 at 1080p ultra 60fps. Alternatively, consider a 5500xt or 1650ti.

It's a minor improvement. Think of it as moving from a 1660 Super to an RTX 2060.

Because of file system encryption, creating genuine copies for FH3 and FH4 causes significant CPU usage. It’s recommended to keep an eye on your component load in the game using RTSS.

He doesn't require those components for FORZA titles... they function well on 1050Ti/7970 hardware at 60FPS with medium to high settings. The problem lies with his single RAM stick. This title launches the GPU fully using just four threads and dual-channel memory. His RAM is significantly underperforming here—switching to dual-channel would make a big difference. It’s really disappointing having only a single channel stick while gaming, especially when you’re pushing for 90FPS+ performance. The CPU strain becomes noticeable even on full GPU usage with four threads.

From 1050 Ti it's a significant improvement. I'm using the 1050 Ti on my second PC, which isn't great. Can you help me get Apex running at 60-70 FPS on medium settings? The RTX 580 seems to perform better in ultra settings.

You're right about the performance boost. Switching from 1050ti to RX580 and increasing frame rate from 35fps to 60-80fps definitely makes a noticeable difference. If you're looking for smoothness, investing in 1660 might not be the best move.

Apex isn't the same as Forza. You can't measure improvements across different titles. He's not seeking an upgrade, just a simple fix. The 1050Ti remains 1080p Medium in Forza (62-70 FPS average).

Sure, I understand. The RX 580 performs significantly better compared to the 1050 Ti in terms of value. I didn’t mention anything about Forza. For the 1050 Ti, I’ll handle it. I have a better CPU and more RAM than it, like an i5 6400 which is quite affordable. This setup is a solid combination (1050 Ti + i5 6400). Adding 8 GB of RAM would also be beneficial.
