For 1080p, consider adjusting your display settings to match the recommended resolution and refresh rate. Upgrade your GPU drivers and ensure your system is optimized for the hardware. Regarding overclocking, it can potentially improve performance but comes with risks—test carefully and monitor stability.
It performs excellently at 1080p, especially with reduced AA and shadow adjustments. At 1400p it nearly reaches its limit on my 770, mainly due to VRAM constraints. High texture and shadow settings still deliver solid performance, and I maintain good frame rates even at 4k medium settings.
I believe you'll achieve over 60 frames per second on high-ultra with this. The GPU load might boost performance by around 10 to 20 fps, though it's uncertain. Hope that helps!
It seems the maximum frame rate won’t exceed 10 fps because the GPU or CPU isn’t the main limiting factor
The game appears to consume a significant amount of VRAM, as shown in the OC3D benchmarks. On average, it uses roughly 500MB more than what the graphics menu suggests. While the GPU has a strong 770 MHz clock, the VRAM isn’t sufficient for high settings—you’ll likely miss out on some performance gains. I’m still waiting to test my copy.
For 1080p high configurations reduce the "population variety" since it consumes a lot of VRAM. Increase your AA to x2, max x4 and test performance. You won’t need any GPU overclocking because your VRAM limits you here. No further advice at the moment—my plan is to adjust settings later this week when I’ll have time and the game will restart after every VRAM-related graphical change. Right now I stick to low settings for smooth gameplay, keeping 60fps in story mode and online with my GTX 760.
