It seems you selected Windows 11 Pro, which is designed for workstations. Your Windows version isn’t activating properly because your account isn’t linked correctly.

You can likely stick with the OS for gaming and light tasks without issues. It should perform just as well as Windows 11 Pro, so switching to a lighter setup won’t hurt performance.

The Windows is set up with 11 Pro for Workstations key? Or it hasn't been activated at all? If it isn't, reinstalling and activating with a standard Pro key should resolve the issue.

You're not having any issues—just preferring to stick with your current setup. It's perfectly fine to keep it as is. Performance for gaming and light productivity should be similar to the default version, unless there are specific settings or updates affecting it.

It should work properly. According to the Reddit discussion, the Workstations edition includes only a few features compared to the regular Pro version. Unless you don’t mind missing some of the non-activated 11 capabilities, it should be acceptable as-is.

The workstation version doesn’t have any missing content compared to the edited edition. But if it isn’t turned on, you won’t be able to customize your desktop using third-party software or registry changes. You’ll also notice the “activate windows” watermark appearing at the bottom right of your screen. For a brand-new setup, now is the ideal moment to reinstall using your genuine product key, since it becomes increasingly frustrating as time passes.
