Hey everyone, I’m checking my plans and wondering if I’m hogging too many lanes. I’m thinking about a 5800x or 5900x on a B550 board. My main focus is the Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus with an RTX 3080, and I’m a bit concerned about adding four PCIe Gen 3 x4 NVMe SSDs into an adapter. Am I doing this right?

Thanks for your feedback. Your setup sounds like a practical storage solution. The performance you're expecting from those NVMe drives seems quite impressive, especially at around 3500 MB/s read speeds for under £30. It's definitely worth considering them as replacements or upgrades. With RAID 0, you'd maintain the same speed while increasing capacity, and using an X570 would likely boost it further to around 7000 MB/s.

I meant I’d benefit from the speed boost in raid 0 to raise potential performance. It seems I’ll need to dig deeper before deciding quickly—would you prefer to explore running bifurcation or switch a graphics card to a lower slot? Or do you think something like FusedRode would meet my needs?
