I'm compelled to rely on Armory Crate for managing the rainbow barf RGB on my 3080. It's the sole ASUS solution available, yet it's considered quite unnecessary software. The resource usage is excessive compared to its functionality. I really dislike it and wish it weren't required for RGB control. Checked OpenRGB, but it doesn't appear to support the 3080 yet. Right now, my choices are limited to rainbow barf or bloatware. Sigh

Yes, I’ve had my experience. I don’t mind the hit since I’m not CPU constrained (fully all-core). Still, I’d like a physical switch on the card to turn it off.
