I don't have access to specific in-game settings for unlocking a 30FPS cap in Fallout 4. You might need to check official forums or the game's support resources for guidance.

You're referring to adjusting the frame rate limit instead of a 60 FPS cap. Just set the "iPresentInterval" to 0 in the Fallout4Prefs.ini file.

Check your My Games for Fallout entries, locate the .ini named Fallout4prefs.ini, then set ipresentinterval to 0 and ensure 1 enables v-sync.

It secures my game at a slow 30 frames per second due to an odd issue, actually 33 FPS because my screen runs at 66 Hz.

It seems you could have V-sync active. Consider turning it off in the settings. Ignore the previous comment—this is unusual. I haven’t tried Fallout 4, and I don’t own a graphics card, so I can’t confirm the problem.

The issue isn't available in the game or during setup. I adjusted the settings in the NVIDIA control panel, but it still didn't function. However, the method I described earlier worked.

If it doesn’t fit in the Documents file, adjust the settings in the Fallout installation folder’s ini file and set it to read-only.

There are two of them—one stored in the documents section and another in the game folder.

Have you attempted to play the game with a windowed, borderless layout? If yes, avoid using it as it limits the frame rate to 30fps.
