Hello everyone, I'm using an R9 280X, an i5 4590 with 8 GB of 1600MHz RAM. I'm experiencing serious stutters in Black Ops 3, making the game drop from 60 to 30 frames, which makes it nearly impossible to play unless I lower the settings. In Fallout 4, I notice significant lag in cities, even though I know it's a typical problem, and it's worse when most options are turned off. I've run a virus scan using Avast and malwarebyts, and I've defragmented my HDD. I don't have the Crimson driver for AMD, which I heard caused issues, so I'm unsure whether to install it. What advice do you have? Thanks for your support.

Check if your parts are getting too hot. Share your current temperatures, clock speeds for the CPU and GPU.

Review event log for unusual activity – determine if CPU or GPU usage is highest. Open Task Manager and GPU-Z while playing to check real-time performance. Verify all motherboard drivers are up-to-date and confirm BIOS settings are correct. This issue may occur consistently or sporadically during the session.

Event log location varies by system. On BO3 you can find it in the system settings or control panel. For detailed troubleshooting, check recent changes and recent updates. CPU and GPU spikes often point to background processes or hardware issues. Disk at 100% usually indicates storage full—consider cleaning up files or expanding space. Let me know if you need step-by-step guidance.
