I've just completed a new PC build. The configuration includes a Ryzen 5 7600, RX 6750 XT, 32GB DDR5 memory, and a PSU. Everything is configured and I can boot Windows, but the system unexpectedly shuts down with no error messages—just a black screen and all fans stopping. After a couple seconds, a faint click from the PSU follows, then it restarts. It seems this occurs more often when the PC is under stress or after installing updates. I suspect the power supply might be struggling, but I haven't checked the connections thoroughly. Reseating cables helped, and booting without the graphics card didn’t fix it. Thanks for your help!

Can't comment on the EVGA PSU quality from their B2/G2/P2/T2 models, but it seems like a power delivery problem. Would it help to try another PSU? Setting a lower fixed voltage and frequency for both CPU and GPU might resolve the issue.

It really works well at 600W during maximum use. Returning the power supply might be an option, though it seems a bit unusual.

GT serves as EVGA's basic power supply option. It might be wise to look for an alternative power supply since this one seems faulty, possibly due to a defective component. Occasionally, DOA parts are mistaken for this model.

Let me know if you're mistaken—I want to make sure. For PSUs, most people rely on trusted brands like ASUS, MSI, and Gigabyte. SeaSonic is also a good option but not as widely recommended.

I changed the power supplies for the Corsair RM850 and the problem still happens. I've tried reseating the CPU, removing RAM and GPU to narrow down the cause, and updated the BIOS. After speaking with Asus support, it seems the issue was due to my choice of memory, which isn't compatible with the board.
