I worked with an older machine that I reinstalled Windows 11 on. I added a budget AMD card for my mother. Problem 1: regardless of power-saving settings or changes, the PC still powers down after idle periods. Problem 2: power-saving and device manager USB settings let any USB device wake the PC, even when it shouldn’t. Problem 3: the machine stays on smoothly while streaming Netflix or YouTube, but when Spotify plays after a few minutes the TV shows no signal. Only the GPU and SSD were replaced. No prior experience with AMD hardware or its drivers, but this is the third PC I built without similar issues? Specs: new install W11 Home, used AMD 580 i7 8700, 32GB RAM, MSI Z370.

It seems you're considering sticking with Windows 10. I've faced several problems with Windows 11 on older hardware (AMD CPUs and GPUs) on PCs and laptops I've used. Most of the time, Windows 10 resolved or even fixed the issues on its own.
