Ok, so i am switching my case to a 011d mini ( i had to get a new sfx power supply ) and there is no power going to my motherboard from my power supply and i have tried multiple different power supply’s and none are making the motherboard lights turn on or making any power go to it and it should be enough to power my pc
It might be possible. I’d verify the motherboard fasteners are secure and there are no unexpected loose wires, like the CPU fan. I’d also reset the CMOS to confirm everything is correct. Sometimes it’s just small details that fix the issue.
Motherboards are actually more durable than commonly assumed. Watch a video by der8auer demonstrating how he severely bends a motherboard and it still functions. Begin by inspecting all connections, verifying the correct pin placement. If you have an integrated graphics card, remove your GPU and see if the system boots. Disconnect or unplug non-essential parts as much as possible. Reattach your RAM, testing one at a time, clear the CMOS, re-seat the CPU, and check the pins on both the CPU and motherboard. Be careful not to over-tighten the cooler. If issues persist, examine the board’s surface for any accidental damage such as removed SMD components.
