I'm working on upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11. The secure boot feature isn't enabled, which is required for a smooth upgrade. I consulted an ASUS agent who advised updating my BIOS. After completing that update, I encountered problems booting into Windows. My boot order showed no drives, and I suspected the issue was related to CSM. Once I activated CSM, it worked without problems. Now I need to fix secure boot so I can use Windows 11. Should I adjust any of these settings to enable secure boot alongside the upgrade? Or are there other steps I should take?
CSM is active indicating a potentially outdated MBR partition table. You may run MBR2GPT.exe to transform your disk, thereby turning off CSM, or simply turn it off and reinstall Windows for a GPT setup by default.
