It's better than what I can get on air. I experience BSOD at any lower than 1.213V during 4.6GHz stress testing at 4.6GHz when under load. I can run it at 4.8GHz, but temperatures rise too much during the stress test. I ran Cinebench at 4.8GHz and it performed well. It really depends on your temperatures.
I own a CRYORIG H7 + 4790K and a Gigabyte z97x gaming 7. The motherboard has only been around for under a week, so I haven't tested it extensively.
