Hey! Your AMD FX-8350 8-core processor is performing well. You're thinking about whether an upgrade to a faster CPU or a better graphics card would help you hit that smooth 60fps gaming experience with great visuals. Let me know if you need more advice! PC specs: CPU – AMD FX-8350, GPU – GTX 1060 SSC, RAM – 16GB, Motherboard – Sabertooth 990FX R2.0.

The CPU is fairly old, but it seems to handle everything you need. If you're content with the speed, you should be okay. Still, upgrading might be wise since a better GPU won't make much difference—your CPU will limit performance. I’d recommend something like a Ryzen 3 3300X; it would boost both single and multi-core performance noticeably.

By now, FX CPUs are quite old. A Ryzen 5 3600 would definitely cover your needs. The 1060 might work depending on what you plan to do.

Consider these points carefully. 1. Can I invest in better hardware? 2. Does it meet all my requirements? 3. Are there any issues? If the answers point toward replacement, go ahead; otherwise, hold off and save for later.
