Bad upload speeds frustrate people because they slow down sharing content, making it hard for everyone. It’s annoying when some users don’t add value but still dominate discussions.

I was joking around, but it’s actually great! If we were live, we’d only have about 150mb/s internet, which is decent. You mentioned having nearly gigabit speeds—super fast!

I wasn't sure if moving in required contacting Comcast for an upgrade, or if the current setup was enough. While the download seemed quick, I noticed the upload speed was only 41MB, which made me wonder about potential issues.

Notice how your writing comes across as overly patronizing. Combined with the slow internet connection and this overly complicated question, it really stands out as a big oversight.

Yes I'm very condescending to people who act like jerks. I admit it. Guilty. Also, if I dont know how to interpret the speed and numbers how am I supposed to be aware that it's "ungodly"? If I had known the answer I wouldnt have asked the question. For all I know there could be people who have 2,000 MB/s download & 1,800 MB/s upload. There's no such thing as an "unncessary question". If someone has a question they should ask it. Like I did. How else are people supposed to learn?

ISPs typically don’t offer strong upload speeds for home users since most people upload little and stream a lot. Many devices also face hardware constraints, with limited available channels. A 40Mbit connection is more than enough for gaming or running personal games.

The upload rates are typically under 50mb/s, which is typical.

That's perfectly acceptable. A lot of folks enjoy moving around single digits. You're all right.

Absolutely, those rates weren’t sufficient. I invested a lot of time loading one Steam title at a time. & no, I felt dismissive whenever folks began questioning if it was a joke.
