Took some time to figure out which edge is rofl. Just don't say I didn't warn you—you'd be in trouble. To check if my temps are safe while gaming, I run a tough benchmark for a short period, and if they stay below 80 during that test, it means the game won't go over that threshold.

You could simply run Unigine Forest and let it work for a while without needing to stress-test it.

I usually rely on MSI Afterburner OSD during games. I'm not sure why, but I enjoy monitoring my temperatures.
