I recently purchased a Gigabyte H310M S2 2.0 motherboard with an Intel i3 9100F in a bundle. Can I use the ADATA Gammix 2666 MHz (AX4U266638G16-SRG) RAM? The memory indicates it supports Intel X299 and Ryzen processors.

It's DDR4 compatible, that's all. The specs they advertise aren't as important here since we're using an Intel platform. But since it's a 9th generation i3, the highest stable speed is 2400MHz, and higher-speed modules will perform slower.

You've been using an Intel i3 540 for seven years, which only supports up to 1333 MHz RAM. That means a 2400 MHz RAM speed should work just fine.
