Check voltage compatibility for I7 9700K at 5.2 GHZ
i have an i7 9700k with 5.2 ghz all cores. I adjusted the voltage and tested various voltages (1.44v, 1.47v, etc.). 1.49v worked well for stability. I’m not very familiar with OC settings, so it’s okay. Regarding idle performance, at around 1.2ghz the voltage drops to 1.49v and it runs fine. As for RAM, having two 8gb 4266mhz modules at 4000mhz doesn’t seem to affect the CPU’s OC performance.
I don't have temperatures, but I'm here to help you with any questions you might have!
Around 75-80°C (max 92°C, I don’t really rely on CPU at 100%) with 1100rpm fans and 140mm fans.
it doesn't matter the temperatures at that voltage, unless you're using it for just a year, aim for a maximum of 1.4v, and 5.0v for regular use.
Agree here, especially the degradation part. Click down that voltage and find a stable OC.
The improvements aren't that substantial, though.
Are you thinking about cooking your chips in under a year? That sounds expensive
