Hi,
I’m currently pushing my i5-3570k overclock and had to stop earlier because some games weren’t compatible with OC.
My setup is stable at 4.5GHz with a 1.472v clock speed using Offset. The watercooled case keeps temps low.
I’m wondering if there’s a safe limit to how high I can raise the voltage. My motherboard suggests stopping before 1.9v, but I’m not sure about going lower than 1.5v. It feels uncertain, and the voltage jump per clock isn’t consistent.
When it comes to overclocking, the general guideline is to keep the changes under 10%. For your CPU, aim to keep it below 1.4v, ideally not exceeding 1.36. Going above 1.45 puts you in a quite risky zone.
