The typical CPU temperature for your laptop is around 45 to 59 degrees Celsius. The increased fan speed after updating Windows is normal as the system works harder to cool down during the update process.

The reading at 45-59c seems quite weak when a laptop is under stress. Idle performance isn't specified.

It could be due to various reasons such as increased activity, external factors, or system performance changes.

The fan curve has been adjusted and it's actually cooling better due to increased airflow. Alternatively, the CPU is hotter so the fan spins faster. When the load on the CPU is unclear, 45-59 doesn't provide useful information. Missing model details on the laptop makes most assumptions unreliable.
