You're experiencing issues with ringed edge detection performance on your ASUS Z790 Prime MB. The problem might be related to settings or configurations affecting the threshold. Check the stock value and ensure the settings are optimized for your hardware. If needed, adjust the threshold values or consult the manufacturer's support resources for further assistance.

Share some ThrottleStop images. Add the FIVR and TPL settings. Certain motherboards intentionally slow down the cache speed of 12th Gen chips for better performance.

I gave up because I had set the TDP limit to MB values and attempted to use Intel + unlimited two cables instead of one for CPU power. I configured the PL limit to 200 and 250 watts, but even with default settings, I tried power saving in throttlestop which restricted cores to around 20% instead of the full 45%. The virtual core error appeared via OCCT on my 13400f—it runs at a lower MHz but still produced errors. My 12600k is just a lower MHz version of the same CPU, yet it wasn’t fully stable.

Next time adjust IccMax for CPU Core, P Cache, Intel GPU and iGPU Unslice. The Intel GPU remains on F series CPUs but is not visible. Also raise Power Limit 4 to its maximum.

iccmax showed max limit at 4.6GHz instead of the expected 4.9GHz. Virtual cores in OCCT were failing, and extra single-core performance wasn't showing. The PSU is Corsair RM850X, temperatures spike a lot on 12600KF but don’t reach extreme levels like an i7 12700K or i9 12900K.

When Ring Down Bin is activated, the P Cache consistently operates at a reduced speed compared to the Core. Typically it runs between 300 MHz and 600 MHz slower, varying with the specific CPU model. This adjustment enhances overall system stability.
