It seems there’s growing interest in these CPUs compared to the RTX GPUs, and demand is still strong. Many people who bought them early missed out, while others secured preorders before they ran out. Since details about shipping times and stock levels are scarce, sharing information from a retailer could be helpful. This data came from B&H Photo, indicating it’s not just a minor or obscure seller. Do you know if other stores have similar restock schedules?

I recall another person mentioning they had placed a 5950x order through B&H, only to learn later that delivery could be delayed until the first quarter of 2021.

Supply looked quite good initially. They had it available for a few hours before selling out quickly. I faced no issues placing an order or receiving the product without any excessive spam. The initial restock in Germany happened just yesterday.

I believed I secured a 5900x on launch, though there were some basket problems. Received confirmation, but nothing was picked or shipped. It turns out I ended up in a default pre-order queue, with delivery expected soon after Christmas. This is in the UK; a friend had the same issue. It seems this store may have less stock than others, and supply was extremely limited across the board. I’ve cancelled and will wait for the situation to stabilize in New York.

I placed the order just before it went live... All the sites I checked were already sold out at launch. (Amazon, Newegg, B&H, etc.) It seems the interest in this CPU line was far greater than any previous release. It felt like there was a much larger supply than before, but the demand was so strong it didn’t matter. (That’s my take) After everything, parents are working from home while kids are studying from home, and most families only had one older machine before.

My model runs at 5800X, which could explain why I'm the 21st instead of the next one...

Microless currently has the 5600x and 5800x models available, though they're priced $150 above the recommended minimum. The 3300x model is in stock at $150.

It seems life in Kuwait comes with its own set of challenges. In North America, shops often run out of items much quicker than in other parts of the world. Plus, consumer protection rules mean price increases aren't allowed.

Well newegg had the 5600x for only 10 dollars over msrp (taxes), and free shipping, and some things are for reasonable prices here, so idk if it is that bad, but what's odd they say it is full in stock, not even limited stock, they also sell the 3090 trinity, vision and ventus oc for 2400 usd, and all the msi 3070s for 1000 usd
