Hey! Your Cinebench test came in really well, hitting around 95°C. The 7700X is built to handle that temperature, so you're in the safe zone. Undervolting could help squeeze out a bit more performance, but only if you're comfortable with it. Let me know what you think! Mobo: b650 Tomahawk

What's your best setup? Are you relying on a single tower air cooler, or is your case lacking proper airflow with a poor front panel?

I'm using a Deepcool AG620 twin tower and the 4000D airflow case has been searched for this—seems like a typical choice for this CPU model.

It's a pretty intense clip from Optimum Tech that breaks it down clearly.

You noticed the precision improvement and temperature control—testing stability would be most effective by gradually increasing load while monitoring performance.

It's a gradual process, taking small steps of five and observing stability. After powering on, check if it remains steady—run a stress test such as Cinebench R23 and wait five minutes. If it holds, continue; if not, revert and retry.

It sounds like you're planning a slow pace, right? Should we aim for 30 and then continue descending?

I agree, though you might not notice a big change in thermals. Clock speeds should increase. For even cooler temps with slightly reduced performance, follow Optimum's method at 4:49 by manually adjusting the power limit. Check the video for details and the linked time.

I’ll have to look it up, but I don’t really want my CPU to be able to cook stuff XD

Pbo plus negative offset can boost your score, but you probably won’t surpass 95c since the target they aim for before resetting clocks remains unchanged.
