I own a setup with these parts: processor – AMD Ryzen 7 1700X, cooler – Coolermaster A30 (previously used a box cooler before it failed), motherboard – MSI X470 Gaming Plus, RAM – Fury HyperX 8GB 4x, SSD – WD Green M.2 2280 240GB, GPU – Radeon RX 550, power supply – XFX XTR2 850W PSU. It functioned well for a while, but recently I had to replace it during a rebuild. Now, after verifying all power connections and ensuring the PSU power switch is active, the system still won’t start. I’ve tested everything except the CPU and motherboard in another build, which were fine. If this is truly the issue, is there anything I can do to diagnose whether the CPU or board is faulty? I don’t have any other CPUs or boards available, but I’m curious if there’s a way to check for dead components here.
During testing earlier, the motherboard lights failed to activate. Now, when I attempt to power it up, a DRAM error appears.
