Reach out to your ISP and persist in pressuring their technical support until they conduct a comprehensive test on your connection. The upload test reveals a significant issue.

You're using a Docsis 3.0 modem, which typically offers faster uploads only on Gigabit connections from most coax ISPs. This means you're likely getting around 5 or 10 Mbps upload speeds—comparable to Comcast, WOW, and Charter in the US. Docsis 3.0 and 3.1 depend on Channel Bonding, combining multiple frequencies for both downloads and uploads. However, channels can get overused or experience interference from neighboring signals. Remember, the cable provider shares the same frequency bands as radio, TV broadcasts, and cellular networks—just transmitted through coaxial cables. Damage to cables or connectors may allow these wireless signals to interfere, leading to slower speeds or connectivity problems.

It’s unlikely your ping would improve significantly just by switching to a 100 Mbps plan. Higher bandwidth helps download speeds but doesn’t directly reduce latency for online gaming.

Avoid using the same DNS servers. Switch to DNSJumper and consider cloudflare, Google, Quad9 or other options.
