I assumed you meant it was shown earlier. Right now my PC is connected straight to the modem, and I’ll get a router next Monday. I’m unsure about the 50 down and 50 up part.

He shared his speed test data, but only download speeds were shown, not the upload. The download rate was around 30Mb/s despite a 50 Mbps plan. Your ISP might affect performance—check with them and run tests at different times. Upload speed details weren't provided, so it's unclear what you're paying for. Bandwidth flows both ways.

I was never informed by my building about the actual upload speed, which was only 50mbps. I plan to explore ways to assess internet congestion in this area. I intend to try the TCP Optimizer first before considering a switch to 100.

They continue to employ this tool in contemporary Windows environments. Consult your ISP and present the figures. Emphasize these are the actual speeds when directly linked via Ethernet to their modem. Performance may fluctuate based on daily usage patterns and node load. In a shared building with multiple occupants relying on the same provider, this makes sense.
