Now I remembered; in the second video of the first post, he said: "it supposed to work like that (at 95 degrees), but that doesn't mean that it should be correct", so that's why I want to lower a little bit the frequency. Like, I like the boost, but when not using it, I would like to have a lower frequency/power, like a laptop. But if they say that it's ok like this... then let's keep it that way. And DAMN you are right; the assassin iv look very good! But I don't understand how many fans it has? lol. If it has better performance than the noctua (and if it fits my case), I will think about it... Thanks for the advice!

Just because it reaches 4.8ghz doesn<|pad|>, doesn't guarantee the temperature stays low. It can operate at 4.8ghz with just 9% CPU load instead of full usage, keeping it under 60°C. I spotted the video too! It looks great both visually and in terms of performance. With the weather getting warmer outside, I’m expecting cooler temps soon—right now it’s 35°C outside and around 26°C in my room, which isn’t ideal for either me or my PC. The current situation is pretty uncomfortable for both of us. Regarding the Ryzen Master download, it’s probably safe to proceed unless you have specific concerns. For adjusting the fan curve, I’d recommend checking the motherboard settings or using a dedicated fan control app; sometimes they behave unpredictably, and the built-in tools can be tricky.

I regret bringing this thread back up but appreciate your confirmation! I was concerned about my 7700 operating around 51°C at idle and reaching 71°C under load. Also, with an ambient temperature of about 30°C, it seems everything is within normal ranges?

Under these high ambient conditions, I anticipate idle temperatures around 50°C and 71°C, which are also excellent during load with 30°C ambient. Perfect situation. No concerns at all. Excellent performance.

Great news! I just upgraded my PC and was a bit concerned about the temperatures. The local hardware store technician also told me it wasn’t the right way, which surprised me a bit.

He might not fully understand how AM5/Ryzen 7000/9000 series chips operate compared to other architectures on the market. They reach their TJmax and generally deliver peak performance even at temperatures below 95°C. Your processor isn’t concerned with whether it’s 55°C or 94°C—it maintains full performance regardless. For AM5 CPUs, cooling becomes critical at around 95°C; previously it was risky to exceed TJmax, but now it’s manageable with proper cooling. I often emphasize that anything under 95°C with AM5 is essentially free performance, so there’s no need to worry. I’ve prepared a video you can watch via DM if you’re interested, demonstrating clock speeds versus temperature and cooling efficiency on an AM5 chip at 95°C.
