Your current temperatures are normal for idle and gaming. With a Lian Li Gallahad cooler and the latest BIOS, your setup should handle the 60-70 range well. Your CPU is running at 5.5GHz and 1.375V, which is solid. No major changes needed unless you notice performance drops.

Downloading games often requires significant CPU resources since it involves installing and compressing files simultaneously. That’s completely typical.

You're considering upgrading your system with an ASUS ROG Strix Z790 and DDR5 RAM. It's worth noting that these components won't support DDR5, so you'll need to stick with the UD DDR4 you already have. Upgrading to DDR5 could offer slight performance and stability gains, but the benefits may be limited if your motherboard only supports DDR4.

For stability, it shouldn’t be prone to issues? That means no noticeable improvement from that. Regarding performance, the increase isn’t significant enough to justify buying a new motherboard and RAM set.

Getting games online takes effort and consumes significant processing power, particularly on high-speed connections. Updating also demands considerable CPU usage because it often relies on patch management instead of full file replacement.
