I believed Wolfdales offered poor thermal management for Intel chips. A 20°C temperature reduction resembles Intel's limitations with liquid metal, suggesting direct cooling could become the standard for future CPUs.

I was quite hesitant about purchasing the 7000 series up to 95 degrees. I'm excited about the possibilities DerBauer's team might offer for this.
