My Ryzen 3600, which I just purchased, overheats to 90°C during gameplay in Battlefield while using the default cooler. (Background YouTube is running.)

The optimal temperature zone for peak performance lies around 90°C. You can fine-tune the voltage manually for improved outcomes or use a 20-4 heat pipe with a 120mm cooler for better cooling.

No, a 90°C temperature won't harm your CPU.

It's acceptable since reaching that limit is possible with the 4 heat pipe 120mm cooler.
