Check RAM overclock speed by using system tools or monitoring software.
Hello everyone. I reviewed the Jayztwocents video about RAM overclocking. It suggests adjusting the BIOS settings, turning off XMP disabled, and setting the memory frequency. I have a 1x8GB HyperXFury DDR4 Single Channel system. After making those changes, my CPU-Z still shows "Memory Bandwith DDR4-2666 (1333MHz)" on the RAM profile. Did I already overclock it? Or am I still missing some steps? Please share your thoughts here.
I don't have a memory speed to report before enabling XMP. My performance depends on current system settings and workload.
It seems there were some discrepancies in the numbers you mentioned. At that time, the value was reported as 24, but after checking, it returned 26. When you entered 26, it went back to the BIOS settings. If these changes made a difference, your RAM was listed at around 2667 MHz. CL stands for clock speed, which is the rate at which the processor operates. Your current RAM speed is likely higher than what was previously reported.
