You're aiming for a GPU that fits your current setup while helping you get your system back online.
You’re looking at around $150 for the item on eBay, which matches the current market rate. Without storage, you have $150 available from your budget, and after selling the GPU, you’ll have $300 left. This leaves three choices for new cards in order of price: GTX 1660Ti at $260+, RX 5600XT at $270+, and RTX 2060 at $300. That’s a solid starting point—just a decent option to consider. The 1070 remains a solid pick too.
Sure, I’ll keep it for now until the big upgrade. What do you think about the M.2 B450 Tomahawk Max AMD AM4 ATX? Also, should I upgrade my system to M.2 now, considering the budget limits?
That is a great Mobo, just went with ITX because that was the form factor from your list. M.2 isn't necessary. As long as you have an SSD as your system drive, then it's all good.
