Hi there, You're using a weak ISP router and need a reliable Wi-Fi solution. With 10-15 devices inside and limited coverage, finding a strong option is key. Your Plex server also uses the network, so bandwidth isn't a big issue. The NETGEAR Nighthawk X6S was considered but might not be enough for your needs. Consider models with better range and capacity, like the ASUS RT-AX8600G or TP-Link Archer AX8900, which handle more devices and offer stronger signals. Let me know if you want more details!

I recommend picking the option that matches your budget and tastes. TP Link offers excellent items worth exploring. The Nighthawk X6S stands out as a strong pick. Asus also has choices, but I’m not sure how they compare because I haven’t used any of their networking gear before.

You should gather essential details before proceeding: your ISP bandwidth plan, your financial limits, the coverage area required, a basic drawing of your home, the specific model of your router, and whether you can install gigabit Ethernet at home.

Ultimately chose the nighthawk X6S. Even though I’ve used an ISP router before with the X4 a few years ago, it performed well. We’ll try it out and find out. Appreciate your assistance!
