Couldn't locate the specification page on asus.com. Your configuration seems ready to operate smoothly. Crosshair VIII Formula paired with Corsair 3600 Dominator platinums 4x8 for 32 gigs on an AMD 3950x.

That's unclear. You don't need to worry about the QVL list. Generally it should function properly. In the worst case, you might have to make some adjustments to reach the advertised speeds. Zen 2 can easily reach 1800 FCLK and the imc will manage a 3600 kit just fine.
