Looking for a good motherboard and CPU set in the $350-$450 range? I’m thinking an ATX model with two M.2 SSD slots, perfect for pairing with your RTX 3060 Ti Ventus 3x.

Do you own a computer already? If yes, what are its specifications? (Include full details like case, PSU, RAM, etc.) You probably don’t need a new system if your current one is solid.

I own a decent PC, not too old. You can check the list here: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/rYWjt8. But you're looking to upgrade your motherboard and CPU for your friend.

I understand it's a simple query, but I don't have any preferences. What you're looking for is just guidance on choosing an Intel system.

For Intel, delaying a few months would be acceptable. Alder Lake is on the way and could deliver better performance or trigger a price reduction for existing parts if performance claims hold up.
