You might try benchmarking the CPU on your own system to check its health. Micro Center could provide such services, but since you're far from their location, it may not be practical.

They’d likely need an outdated motherboard to try it, and even then, testing would probably be more affordable by purchasing a second-hand compatible one from sites like eBay or Craigslist. That way, you’d have a functional board ready if it works.

The issue is that I'm running tests to help you sell and replace Ryzen parts.

It depends on your location. If you're familiar with local electronics stores, you might visit one, spend about $5 to $10, and have them test the device.

I operate a modest store 30 miles away, could consider visiting.

Sure, perhaps notify them ahead of time and ask about their needs. You could propose a payment, have it evaluated, or even attempt to sell it to them.

If you can't find a place to test it, you might purchase an affordable used motherboard and then offer them together as a package deal.

If everything else doesn't work, you can simply sell each component separately and list the CPU in an unknown or untested state. Buyers will take the risk. Based on what I've seen, CPUs usually don't fail without visible damage.

I just noticed I hadn't checked the power button for months. That's really annoying!
