You can use your genuine Windows 7 files to upgrade to Windows 10, but the compatibility depends on your system configuration and updates. It may work temporarily, but long-term stability isn’t guaranteed.

Certainly, upgrading in the coming months will ensure your Windows 10 version remains active indefinitely.

Payment is required at the start, but no charges follow once you're upgraded. You have until July 2016 to claim the offer, after which it remains free indefinitely.

Will it stop working after July? That’s confusing. If you upgrade now, it should stay active forever, but delaying until August might mean extra costs.

No, it won't turn off. Upgrade now—this feature lasts forever.

Explaining Windows Ten upgrades is like using a coupon. You can use it as long as it’s valid, whatever you get with it stays valid forever—not just until it expires. If you wait a year and don’t upgrade, you’ll have to pay the full price later. But after the upgrade, it’s permanent.
