I put Windows 10 on my laptop and saw the system settings say it wasn’t activated. I tried using the ISO file to see if that would help. It seems like it might not work right now. This could mean Windows 10 won’t be installed on my PC at the moment.

Are you using an updated version of Windows 7 or 8? If yes, log in with your Microsoft account on the device you're upgrading from, then use that same account after completing the Windows 10 setup. You don't have to enter both login steps during installation. Note: You must first upgrade and then log in with your MSA to the new Windows 10 version before installing the ISO.

Consider checking the Microsoft forums where reps address these topics, as they can provide more focused assistance. This would help you get answers faster since many people are already answering similar basic questions.
