It might require a BIOS update. Perhaps. It’s not possible to perform the update without a CPU. If necessary, reach out to AMD—they can send you and an older CPU for installation. You could also visit a store with technical support such as Best Buy or Micro Center, or a repair shop should be able to assist at a reasonable cost.
