On 1080p display, you can use 1440p settings. 4k might cause performance issues

It varies based on the refresh rate, resolution, and game type. No 1440p at 240Hz for competitive play in esports.

Yes, it's feasible to run heavy AAA games at 1080P with a 144Hz refresh rate while maintaining about 144Hz stability. Your 144Hz monitor paired with a 2080 Ti display should handle the load well, especially if the game supports higher refresh rates.

It varies by GPU and it makes sense to use more than 60 if you can get 144. You're already using a 1080p 144Hz display, which is great!

Your question covers both 60 fps and 144 fps capabilities. It’s confirming performance at those frame rates while also noting some confusion in the message.

Your setup needs to perform exceptionally well, handling 144 frames each second across the majority of titles effortlessly.
