You could opt for just the 9070 and maintain the existing PSU. The 9070 is similar to the RTX4070 Super/4070TI specifications. It remains excellent for 2.5k power consumption.
The 9070 consumes roughly 220w under load. Therefore, a 650w unit is relatively compact for use.
I’ve decided against buying the 9070 because it’s too expensive for a mid-range GPU. If it still cost 600 euros, I’d buy it, but at 800 euros or more, I can’t justify it. Plus, I need to replace my PSU since AMD is very power-hungry.

AMD specifications indicate the 7800xt requires a 700w or higher power supply. A 650w unit might suffice. You should test it yourself to confirm if it meets your needs.
I currently use a 650w PSU. With my GPU (4070 Super) running as an overclock, I think a 700-750w unit would be appropriate for the card's overclock. However, the 4070 only consumes about 10w more than my previous RTX3060ti, so it might work well.
