This rig setup with a Maximus XI hero and an i9900K CPU should work well out of the box. Just install the CPU and you're good to go.

Yes? For a Z390 motherboard it should work. It's not too late to correct your errors. Get the CPU/MOBO and pair it with a good x570 motherboard, everything will be okay.
