This could be a really simple question, but I'm curious if using the power button on the case to wake the computer might cause any lasting issues. I checked the device manager and confirmed that my mouse or keyboard can turn it off, and I also looked into BIOS settings for a key combination to start the PC, but nothing changed. Thanks to everyone who is so supportive—I really appreciate your help!

Using a button over time damages it, but it might still last years.

Looking for advice on customizing your BIOS to wake your mouse with keyboard input? Double-check the settings for the right area and try combining specific keys. Let me know if you need more help!

I'll check if I can turn on the mouse in BIOS. I'll be back. Thanks all for your assistance. Hope I avoid any mistakes.

Open Device Manager, choose human interface devices, double-click the first one. Go to the Power Management tab, if the option exists, click 'Allow this device to wake the computer.' Repeat for each device in that group. Next, go to the keyboard section and do the same for all devices in that category. Finally, repeat the process for the mouse category.

Whatever suits you best. To activate me, I randomly press a key or move my mouse lol
