Hey, your situation sounds tricky. After a year of use, the PC froze during a BIOS flash screen and now the SSD isn’t showing up in either Windows or BIOS. After replacing it, the issue resurfaced during a clean restart, and now it won’t boot at all. The drive feels warm but doesn’t detect. It seems the NVMe SSD might be dead, or the M.2 slot could be faulty. The fact it worked in another PC suggests a power delivery problem, possibly related to the display port connections. The RM850 model you mentioned might be a good starting point for further investigation.

Typically, most motherboards include a few M.2 ports, right?

I possess two drives, the first being filled with my primary SSD, and the second one was previously used by this storage device.

Consider trying the switch. It's a bit uncertain, but worth a look.

I came across a review mentioning the Kingston M.2s can overheat under heavy use. Consider trying another option to check compatibility...

It also relies a lot on how the drive is used. How will you be using it?

I utilize it for saving games; it isn't a primary operating system drive.

It depends on the context. Could you clarify what you're referring to? For example, is it a technical term, a song, or something else?
