It seems you're suggesting a manual adjustment. 6600 XMP isn't optimal for Zen4. I'd recommend choosing a completely different solution for a straightforward, reliable setup.
They work with AMD systems, though it’s true if you could send them back I’d consider it. For clarity, the AMD memory controller operates in two settings—1:1 and 2:1—with 1:1 typically delivering much better performance. 1:1 mode is standard for frequencies up to DDR5 6000, whereas DDR5 6200+ switches to 2:1 and drops performance compared to slower configurations. Most AMD processors can reach 6200 or 6400 in 1:1 if you adjust the settings, with the top performers hitting 6600. If you’re not keen on complex tweaks, sticking with DDR5 6000 is a safe choice. Overall, yes it’s possible, but lowering the memory speed to 6000 or enabling 1:1 mode should help optimize results.
I think I'll hold off for a bit—maybe Intel will release something better than the next generation of CPUs. I'm not rushing to upgrade my PC just yet.
Adjust XMP settings for 6200-6400 based on CPU IMC in single precision mode.
