I've begun streaming more recently and wondered if any upgrades are necessary. My setup isn't demanding—playing League of Legends is fine—but I'm aiming for games that require better performance. Current components: motherboard Gigabyte B450M, 16GB RAM, AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (6 cores), 3.59 GHz CPU, and an AMD Radeon 5600 XT GPU.
The 3600 and 5600XT make a solid pairing. Even with a major slowdown, the game can function smoothly on a single-core CPU and integrated graphics. You'll stay comfortable playing League for a long period.
Each system has an area that can be exploited. This vulnerability changes based on how you interact with it. Since games vary in needs, it's hard to pinpoint exactly which part of your setup is missing.
Your setup performs well for streaming and gaming unless you notice any lag. At that time, having 8 cores, 32GB RAM, and the latest GPU would likely boost performance, though it’s not strictly essential if your experience remains smooth with the games you play.
