I’m working on assembling my second PC and the graphics card isn’t fitting properly. I’ve verified it fits in the slot and is mostly in, but the left side opposite the latch is still slightly protruding. It clicks into place, though it seems to be touching the heat spreader on the motherboard (Gigabyte B850 gaming Wi-Fi 6E). My graphics card is an Intel Arc B580 Titan OC edition. I’ve also checked the small tabs near the DP ports to make sure they aren’t pressing against the motherboard or case. I’m considering using a vertical GPU cable since my case supports it, but I haven’t heard much about this being an issue. Would it be a good idea to try an alternative solution? — jesse_3634
It's highly probable the insertion was made completely, and you're only observing the tolerances since part of the edge connector is exposed.
I thought similarly but I’m sorry for overlooking it—I can’t fit it into the case because there’s a tiny gap of about a centimeter.
