The 16mb BIOS might have limitations. Many Ryzen2 BIOS updates were simplified for compatibility. I don’t know if every B350 supported it originally. MSI seemed reliable, but others did too. It could be worth verifying. There’s also a chance ram speed settings are affected. I’m not very comfortable with the board details, so this is mostly guesswork. The B550 includes features the B350 lacks.
